Dear Colleagues,
I would like to share my great pleasure with the high professional and scientific level of the First National Conference on Occupational Diseases, held in Sofia on 09-10.10.2009, and organized by the Bulgarian Society of Occupational Diseases.
For the specialists and professors in occupational diseases from the clinics and departments in the country, and for myself, this conference is of particular importance because it is the first such an event in 18 years. Despite the serious logistical, structural and financial difficulties, the occupational physicians in the country presented research studies and reports with high scientific value in the field of occupational diseases.
In Bulgaria, there is a well structured system of occupational health and safety service operating on five levels (...)
